It’s Wednesday night. You’ve made it half way. So … why are you cooking dinner tonight? Especially when Chuck’s has one of the cutest and most delicious pizzas around, baked right in front of you and delivered to your table thanks to the always amazing Streetzeria.
We’ve watched as Streetzeria, one of the first trucks to make an appearance at Chuck’s Hop Shop, has grown from one little oven to two, and their creations have become more and more creative. Our picks for last Wednesday totally fit the bill. We started with the Italian sausage with cayenne caramelized onion. Nice and spicy with the sweet caramelized onions to add balance. Second up was the fall special, butternut squash, prosciutto and argugula with roasted pepitos (pumpkin seeds). Crispy, freshly baked happiness!
To go with our pair of pies, we had the Shilling Oakes Chocolate Apple Cider and a Oscar Blues Ten-Fidy Russian Imperial Stout. The stout went very well with the fall special and the cider had a layering of apple meets chocolate meets crazy flavor!
Wednesdays are totally kids night. Finish off your pie with a scoop of ice cream (and maybe a little porter float for the grown ups!) You deserve it. HAPPY HUMP DAY!
