Here at SeattleFoodTruck.com, we’re all about the trucks. And deals. And doing good things for good people. In the spirit of all those things, we are very excited to announce participation in an amazingly excited event!
Alaska Airlines Employee Assistance Fund (EAF) is an organization that is close to our hearts. Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air employ over 12,000 people across the country, a large portion of which are in the Seattle area. In 1992 one of the employees, Captain Al Brunelle, started a non-profit organization to help provide support to employees who were going through catastrophic circumstances or medical hardships. This is not a company-run organization – it’s employees taking care of each other.
Each year The Alaska EAF has an online auction fund raiser. There are fabulous offerings — everything from travel, jewelery, gift baskets, and this year FOOD TRUCKS! (well, food truck “stuff”, not the actual trucks).
